We have had great success with these LED lights and now have a new updated version! These LED lights are fantastic for dark trash bin areas, driveways, or dark side yards. Economical and user friendly, these lights can be placed most anywhere, and easily moved if the need arises.

These no maintenance lights have three settings:
(Settings automatically activate at dusk, and turn off at dawn via a light sensor).

1. Off to full brightness for about 20 seconds when motion is detected.
2. Dim “night light” to bright light when motion is detected. Dim light will last all night long as long as battery starts at 100%.
3. Bright light on at dusk until the battery depletes. This is usually 6 hours or so depending on battery condition.

Our pressure treated, 2X6 baseboard option is now included as standard equipment with all of our #1 grade fences! This board sits directly on the ground and will not rot. It provides a nice smooth surface for string trimming and adds about 4″ of additional height to the fence. We also nail the bottoms of key pickets to this board which provides additional strength to each panel.

Our cedar double trim option is a continuous piece of 2″ cedar trim along the top of the fence mounted to the surface of our standard 1×4 top trim. This is a nice way to dress up the fence with not a lot of additional expense involved. This item will be priced separately on your estimate when you receive it.

This option adds a 7.5″ wide Cedar or Douglas Fir board which attaches directly on top of the fence. This is a decorative and structural item. It adds strength to the top of the fence which is important during high winds. It looks best when combined with the Double Trim option for a three layered top. The 2×8 Cap will be priced separately on your estimate when you receive it.

Our U-2 Washer Head, Self Tapping screws are another option for our over-achievers. By default, Hancock Fence uses these screws in key locations known for early fence failure. Our Signature Series fence has these fasteners in the trim, cap, corners and gate perimeters. We also use them for our brackets and gate hardware. This option is for customers that also want their pickets fastened with them VS our fantastic Aluminum Ring Shank Nails.

If you don’t like the look of steel posts, we can cover them with our beautiful, hand made, cedar post boxes. These post covers add an element of elegance to the fence offering a more sophisticated, personalized look. We can leave them plain and simple… or add medallions and additional trim to create a theme or personal touch. Ask your estimator about more options and ideas to set your fence apart from the rest!

Our handmade Western Red Cedar Planter Boxes are ready for you to decorate with flowers, plants or whatever your imagination can dream up!

These are custom made in our shop by our craftsmen from new, leftover, fence scraps. This is another recycling effort to create new, unique and exciting products while keeping scraps and unnecessary fence waste out of our landfills. Some scars, blemishes, cracks, stains are to be expected. Each one is unique!

The planters overall size is… 35″ tall, 42.5″ long, and 22-1/4″ front to back.
The inside of the planting box is 35-3/4″ long, 15.5″ front to back, and will hold 6″ deep. The box self drains and the height makes it easy on your back while planting and arranging your creation.

Our units are made from 1-3/4 inch thick Western Red Cedar and are very heavy duty. Our new model has a lower shelf for storage of pots, potting soil or whatever you need. The planters can be painted, stained of left natural to turn a nice grey weathered wood color. All lumber is fastened with our famous washer head screws for maximum durability. Ornamental Aluminum Art (as seen in some of the photos) can be added for an extra charge.

We are seeing a trend in newer neighborhoods that homeowners are no longer allowed to leave their carts outside. Many HOA’s now require that the carts be kept in the garage or inside the back yard, out of sight. Our customers were complaining that the awful smell from carts parked in the garage was not what they signed up for. Cart’s parked in the backyard are a big hassle rolling through the gate, visible and smelly from the patio area, and it’s just too far from the street.

Once again, Hancock Fence to the rescue! We have developed a free standing, fully complete, portable, cart hiding fence. This unique enclosure is built here in our shop and folds at the corner for easier transportation. We build left or right hand units depending on which side of the house you want it on. Simply unfold the unit and set it on the ground beside your home. There is a welded anchor point that can be used to attach to the house and a ground pin at the end to be used as an anchor. If you move, pull the pin out of the ground, unscrew the wall mount, fold and and take it with you!

Interior dimensions are 36″ wide x 72″ long x 48.5″ tall. Just enough room to conceal two carts!

The enclosure is slightly taller than your carts so loading trash or recyclables over the top is no problem at all. One end is open, so you simply roll the carts in from behind for storage.

Hide-A-Cart can be ordered and picked up at our McKinney TX facility for $599.00. They are fairly easy to install yourself IF the ground is flat. We can deliver and set up for $169 if you live in Collin County. If we are building a fence for you, we will be happy to deliver a unit and set up for you for free!
