We REVERSED the standard hinge system that has been in place for 50 years by having the female hinge component specially manufactured so the gate would function as intended. Here in Collin County Texas we have clay soil which is quite shifty depending on the moisture. Gates MUST be adjustable because they will probably move out of their original alignment. If movement occurs, a simple twist of a wrench and Hancock Signature Walk Gates are back in business!!
